Cookie Policy
What this site stores on your device, what it is for, and how to refuse it.

The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cookies come from two Google services: Analytics, which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read, and reCAPTCHA, which loads on the contact page only and stops that form being used by bots. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell what we collect.
What is actually set
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
| _ga_F2DC1LWMHT | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for this property | 2 years |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google reCAPTCHA | Tells a person from a bot on the contact form. Set on google.com, on the contact page only, and used for security — not for advertising or measurement. | 6 months |
The two analytics cookies are non-essential, and every page works normally if you block them. The reCAPTCHA cookie is different: it is there to keep the contact form usable rather than to learn anything about you, and blocking it means the form cannot verify you and will not send. Every other page is unaffected, and you can always email us instead.
Other third parties this page contacts
Cookies are not the only way data leaves your browser. Loading this page also makes requests to the services below, and any request reveals your IP address and browser details to whoever receives it.
| Service | What it is for | Cookies? |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) | The typefaces the site is set in | No |
| unpkg.com | The React and Babel libraries the site is built with | No |
| Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com) | Usage measurement | Yes — see above |
| Google reCAPTCHA (google.com/recaptcha, gstatic.com) | Spam protection on the contact form. Loaded on the contact page only — no other page contacts it. Google receives your IP address and information about how you interacted with the page in order to score whether you are a bot, and this is covered by Google's own privacy policy and terms. | Yes — see above |
Local storage
This site does not use browser local storage or session storage to hold anything about you.
Your choices
Being straight with you: analytics cookies are non-essential, and UK law expects us to ask before setting them. This site does not currently show a consent banner, so Google Analytics loads on every page. We are changing that. Until we do, the controls below are how you refuse it, and we will not pretend otherwise on this page.
You can refuse or remove these cookies at any time:
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which blocks measurement across every site that uses it
- Block or delete cookies for this domain in your browser settings — every major browser supports this per-site
- Turn on your browser's tracking protection, which blocks Google Analytics by default in Firefox, Safari and Brave
Blocking cookies here costs you nothing: no feature of this site depends on them.
Cookies in ActiveManage applications
This policy covers activemanage.co.uk only. An application built on the platform sets a session cookie so you can stay signed in — that one is strictly necessary and needs no consent. Anything beyond it is configured by the customer who operates that application, and their cookie notice applies.
